Noelle Elise Knight

Noelle Elise came into our family on June 23rd at 4:56 pm.  She weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 20 inches long.  I am fairly certain she is the tiniest thing I have ever seen (though I had kids even smaller than her) and she is just perfect.  After a long day in labor...I was induced...we were so happy to finally have her here.  The labor was slow but so worth it when she arrived.  The hospital we delivered at really put emphasis on baby and mom/dad time and so she was right with us the whole time we were there.  We got to have a couple hours with her in the delivery room with her right after she was born and how wonderful!  She was able to nurse right away and the girls were able to come in and see their new baby sister.

Yep...Molly keeps stealing Noelle's binky.  I can't keep it away from her!

4 girls...I can't believe it!  They are all so wonderful and different.  It makes me wonder what little Noelle will be like!

My beautiful girls

My girls are such a big part of my life and oh, how I love them!  I rarely get a picture snapped that has all three of them looking at the camera but something was on my side when I took this picture...and aren't they beautiful!?
All pretty in pink...we have a lot of that at our house!  And more to come!

Sewing Party

What is more fun than hanging out with friends?  Hanging out with friends while sewing!  My friend Lori threw a super fun party Saturday night and we all left with a finished dress.  Lori found a site online that has pre-cut patterns and instructions on how to make a dress.  Within 4 hours most of us had finished these super cute dresses for our girls (or nieces) and Lori L. made pj pants for her son.  The food was yummy and the conversation was great over the whirrr of 10 sewing machines!  It was such a fun night and look what we made!

Thanks Lori for a great night!

Here is Kylie in her dress.  She was so relieved that it fit over her cast.  Megan already informed me that we need to get another kit and make another dress.  :)

Spring Soccer

The spring soccer season ended this last weekend with one last makeup game for a rained out game and then the final soccer picnic.  The girls each got a trophy from their coach and hamburgers and hot dogs were provided for lunch.  They also had games for the kids to play and a couple of those bouncy castles.  Even Molly got in to play.  The sky was overcast so it didn't get too hot until we had been there a couple hours.  It was a fun day and the girls got recognized for their season.

Megan's team was the Jaguars.  Meg was a bit of a follower out on the field but she did score a goal during the season and was so excited.  Check out the shoes she is wearing with her uniform...so Megan!  She had a great season and loved her coach and team.

Kylie's team was the Red Rockets.  Kylie was in the older age group this year so she was the youngest on her team.  She did very well though and really learned the idea of defense.  This age group has a goalie and Kylie was awesome on defense.  She also did well on offense.  She didn't score as many goals as last season but she did score a goal in her very last game!  Even after Kylie broke her arm, she insisted on playing.  She loves soccer and is planning on playing next season as well.  Kylie's coach was great and made the season really fun.

Such a fun day!

Our First Day of Summer

Our first day of summer and no school started Friday.  The girls loved sleeping in and not having to wake up at 6:20.  After breakfast I found them here on the couch reading books, without my prodding!  I love that Kylie can read and she was reading to Megan and Molly.  I loved it!  What a great start to summer.  :)

No more school...

Where has the year gone?  I cannot believe I looked at final report cards today and I now have a 1st grader and a kindergartener.  WOW!  It seems like a few days ago that we geared up for the first day of school and now the summer is here and that year is over!

Kylie had a wonderful year in kinder with a fabulous teacher, Mrs. Young, that really pushed them to excel.  Kylie was accepted into the Gifted and Talented program and enjoyed that as well.  I love that she is reading!  What an amazing thing to watch.

The first day of school and the last...how grown up she is!

This girl is killing me!  I can't believe how much she has grown up in such a short amount of time.  We applied for Megan to go to Pre-K at the school and didn't get notified that she got in until the second week of school but she jumped right in and has done marvelous!  She also has a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Salas, and has already learned several sight words and how to sound out words.
First and last days...how she has grown!
