My silly girls!

I love my girls. They keep me running all the time but they are a joy. Kylie will be starting school in the fall and although I am excited for her I am also a little anxious to send her out into the great big world full of good and bad. Megan will follow right behind her a year later. My girls are growing and its happening so fast. My little Molly will be 1 in just over a week. Kylie will be 6 this fall. Oh, how I love them! I feel so blessed to have these 3 in my home. What a joy. A couple weeks ago we ran into an old lady at Wal-Mart who saw the 3 girls and asked where our boy was. We told her we just had the 3 girls and her response was, "Oh, what a shame! But at least they are beautiful!" Pity on her...she has no idea how wonderful these girls are.
Afternoon snack. Dortitos are pretty much a food group in our house. Everyone loves them...including little Molly. Even better is when you add a little bean dip to those Doritos. Just today we were eating lunch and talking about how much dad likes bean dip. I said, "I think dad loves me more than bean dip." The girls agreed and then I asked Megan if she loved me more than cool ranch doritos. She said, "YES!" Then I asked if she loved me more than chocolate. She thought for a minute and said while giggling...I don't know! It was so funny. When I asked if she loved me more than ketchup she quickly responded NO! We were all laughing pretty hard and Megan thought she was quite hilarious. Of course Kylie said she loved me more than anything I could come up with...including fried ramen noodles. :) I love my silly girls!
We love playing games at our house and these girls are no different! Here we were playing Pretty Pretty Princess. Megan won but of course we had to take pictures of both girls wearing the crown! Is that a hug or a head lock Kylie has on Megan???? I guess Meg is smiling!

My little Molly...always smiling...unless she is in the water! ;)

Father's Day...just a little late!

Kylie and Megan get very excited for holidays, especially Mother's Day and Father's Day. They call it Happy Father's Day. Weeks prior to the actual day, the girls planned what they wanted to make for dad. The girls woke up early so we could make dad's favorite cookies, peanut butter, and bring him breakfast in bed. Ky and Meg also decorated a box for Matt. I am not sure where they got that idea but I wasn't going to stifle their desire to make something. You can't really tell in the picture but they colored pictures and wrote names on the boxes. Then they had me cut out "doors" so they could jump out and yell surprise. It was so cute...and yes, we still have the boxes!

Schlitterbahn

One of the perks of living in such a large city is all the fun things there are to do here. The Friday before the 4th of July Matt's parents took us to Schlitterbahn which is a huge waterpark. A sign said they were voted the best waterpark in the world for 11 years. We had so much fun. Kylie and Megan love the water so they had a blast. Molly is becoming more accustomed to the water and didn't like it at first but she adjusted fairly quickly. Schlitterbahn is a huge park and you can actually get on a tram to take you to a different part of the park. That was Megan's favorite part! :) We played in multiple spray parks, a lazy river, a wave pool, a regular pool and Matt took Kylie on a tube ride. Many of the spray parks even had small waterslides which the girls loved. We spent about 8 hours there and loved every minute of it. We even managed to avoid sunburns...hooray! By the time we made it home we all fell into bed! A very fun yet exhausting day!

This is at the very end of the day, right before we headed home.

What a silly bunch of girls! We promised Kylie and Megan Dippin' Dots before the day was done and Megan is licking every last dot off that spoon!

Molly hadn't even been in the water and I thought it was going to be a good idea to let Kylie take her down the slide. WRONG! The water (very cold) splashed right in her face and she screamed and hated it...mom's mistake! Maybe next time. :)

What beautiful girls I have!

While Matt was with Kylie on the tube ride, I took Megan on the lazy river. Megan loved the river and kept begging people to take her on it. I think she got Grandpa to take her 3 or 4 times.

This was at the start of the day...before the slide incident...still happy!

At this point the water was HOT...seriously, it felt like a bathtub.
