Mackenzie's Wedding

My little sister got married this summer to a man named Jon.  We were so excited to be with her for this amazing time in her life.  The wedding was beautiful and full of so many promises.  How blessed we are to know of the plan of happiness and to have the knowledge of forever families.  I was reminded of my own marriage in the temple and the covenants Matt and I made with one another.  I am grateful for the blessings of the temple, especially now that there are 4 little girls that are included in those blessings!

We were so happy to share the day with Mackenzie and Jon and wish them much happiness.  They were married in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

I did Mackenzie's hair...not too shabby!

I love these ladies!

They were...ummmmm...having a moment...

A Haircut with Love

Kylie decided to chop off her long locks for a shorter hairstyl while we were in Montana.  The stylist measured her hair and said she could donate her hair to Locks of Love!  I explained to Kylie what that was and she was so happy that someone, somewhere, maybe a little girl just like her, could use her hair.  What an amazing moment!  Kylie's haircut turned out absolutely adorable too!

Casey (the hair stylist) also looked at Molly and told me she could clean up her flowing (hahahaha) locks a bit.  So Molly had her first haircut!

Indoor Water Park

While we were in Montana we took a day and drove an hour and half to an indoor pool in North Dakota.  There are water slides, a lazy river, and a play area for little ones.  My girls are like fish so they had a blast here.  I even got to go on the water slides a few times.  This is definitely a place to make memories!

Mackenzie's Bridal Shower

My little sister, Mackenzie got married in June and we threw a bridal shower for her before the wedding.  I love my sisters so much and I am so glad we have the relationship that we have.  We are goofy and dorky and a whole lot of fun!  Kenzie had so many friends and family come to support her and we had a great time.  Congratulations Kenz!

A month in Montana

We had a trip to Montana planned for the summer as I had a sister graduating and another sister getting married.  We pulled the girls out of school a bit early and drove up to Montana.  We made the long drive in 2 days and were so glad to be there...and out of the car!  The weather was so different than Texas.  The high during the day was in the 50s and we were in sweaters and pants.  It was rainy and cool and beautiful!  The wet, cool weather didn't stop the kids from playing outside and here are a few snaps of them on the trampoline in the rain.

Noelle found the shelf with all the bowls and was often found playing with them here.

My uncle adopted 4 kids from Haiti about a year ago and we were able to spend lots of time with them.  My girls grew to love those cousins and what fun they had together!

Don't you just love this face?!  Little DJ is 5 but he is so tiny.  What a little man...and sooooo loving and cute.  He became my buddy right away and I felt pretty lucky.  Noelle loved him too...I think she was rather intrigued by his dark skin.  She kept poking his face.

On our way to Utah for my sister's wedding, we ran into SNOW!!!!!!  Yep, the last week of May and we had snow.  I had to stop along the way to let the girls play in it for a bit.  They had so much fun making miniature snowmen and throwing snowballs.

We were caravaning with my parents and while we stopped to play in the snow we stumbled upon this site...perhaps the scene of a crime?  Hahahaha!!!!  We totally played it up and had Kenna and my mom pointing at the "bloody clothing" while I snapped the picture so I couldn't be implicated later.  We came up with quite the scenario...these girls make me laugh!

Our stop in the motel...the girls wanted a bubble bath.

Our beautiful 6-year-old

Megan Nichole Knight was born on May 14th, 2005 in San Antonio.  She weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long.  She was such a sweet girl from the start and remains that way to this day.  We love our Megan.  Enjoy the pictures of her over the years.

Megan Turns 6!

Megan wanted a friend party this year, so we invited over lots of girls to celebrate with her.  She chose to have spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and we played lots of games!

Here is Megan all wrapped up like a mummy for the toilet paper mummy game.  We split into 4 teams and raced to see who could wrap their mummy first.  Totally fun and all the girls were giggling!

Our version of duck, duck, GOOSE.  "Sleepover, sleepover, PARTY!!!!"

Meg opted for ice cream sundaes instead of birthday cake and the girls all had so much fun with all the toppings and whipped cream.

Ok...I like my whipped cream too!

Megan's actual birthday was the following day and we gave her all the presents from the family.  She got loads of squinkies!

And then we had a family birthday party with Matt's family.  She got so many fun things.  Thanks to all who made her birthday the best yet!
